My my, after yesterday’s ‘revealing’ (and now removed) look into the minds of “Porno” Peter LaBarbera and Sonja “Rim-job” Dalton, I find their fascination with leather-bondage and kids is just a little too much. Their website really should be censored because it’s just so full of smut! I wonder of “The Internets” filter that AFA provides (probably their only good idea) blocks their friends’ websites?
In an article where the Christian Civic League of Maine try to link one man’s extracurricular activities with his professional volunteer activities, completely ignoring the fact that the leather bondage fetish is also part of the heterosexual community, the Fundies have had to dig deep through the tubes of the Internets to ”research” and find the “dirt” on the man they decry, going through many bottles of lube and tissues, no doubt.

Homosexual activist Lewis (Lew) Alessio of Greene, Maine was recently announced by EqualityMaine to be the 2007 recipient of the Cameron Duncan Award. The annual award is the radical homosexual lobbying group’s ‘homosexual of the year’ award. The award was presented to Alessio at EqualityMaine’s 23rd Annual Awards Banquet on March 10 at the Holiday Inn by the Bay in Portland.
The EqualityMaine press release spoke of Alessio as a homosexual demonstrating “extraordinary accomplishment, commitment, and service within the AIDS community” and “an outstanding leader in Maine’s gay community.” Lew Alessio is better known in the central Maine community as being the leader of a homosexual men’s social club called “ Just Guys.” The “Just Guys” motto from their website is “… the new men’s social group for men who have sex with men.” The group meets at MaineGeneral Heath’s Green Street location, located immediately adjacent to the Green Street United Methodist Church in Augusta.

Less well known is Alessio’s recent past, where he competed, and was named 1st runner up, in a homosexual leather bondage fetishist contest in 2001 in New York City. Alessio placed 1st Runner Up in the homosexual leather bondage “New American Leatherman 2001″ according to the homosexual leather bondage fetish website Leatherweb.com. Later that same year, Alessio “married” his homosexual partner, Jim Shaffer.
Besides being a leather bondage fetishist and leader of a homosexual sex men-only social club, Alessio is also self-employed as part of the theater troupe “Actors Theater of Maine.” The State of Maine Arts directory website states the theater group charges $500 per performance and caters primarily to children, from pre-kindergarden to 8th grade. Alessio’s ‘Actors Theater of Maine’ troupe stages plays that “all use students in the performances along with the professional casts. [The performances] are accompanied by extensive teaching materials,” according to the Maine government website.
From what I gather from the article…The Christianist Civic League and Porno Pete are trying to defame a man who does a lot of good things for his community and for children by revealing what he does in his private life. Like always they attack the messenger and not the message.
The problem is, what this man does in his off time, when he’s not saving the world, is really only his business. In no way does what this reflect on the GOOD the man has done in his community with fighting the AIDS epidemic and for what he does for a living entertaining kids. Using the bolded scare tactic “[The performances] are accompanied by extensive teaching materials,” means absolutely nothing. The CCL is insinuating that the man hands out instructions on how to be a leather daddy. This simply is not true. The teaching materials are directly related to acting and interacting with one another in a play or improv situation. I hardly doubt the kids are going to tie eachother up and pull out whips afterwards!
My advice to the CCL and Porno Pete, keep your salad-tossing, leather-bondage with kids fantasies to yourselves and stop trying to paint the whole of the gay community with a narrow brush and only one color! Check out what people on your side of the fence do too in their off time. You shouldn’t be shocked.

Charlie Sheen makes Joy to the World into a cheap sex song
CBS and actor Charlie Sheen have used the Christmas season to ridicule and mock Christ, Christmas and Christians. CBS approved actor Charlie Sheen’s vulgar adaptation of a favorite Christian Christmas carol. On the December 11 program, the network included in their Two and a Half Men an episode featuring Sheen singing about his sexual activity to the tune of the traditional Christmas hymn “Joy to the World.”
CBS and Sheen knew that the lyrics would greatly offend Christians, but did not hesitate to air them. Click here to see the episode on CBS.
The episode opens with series star Charlie (Sheen) singing:
“Joy to the world, I’m getting laid; I’m getting laid tonight. We’ll light the yule log, deck the halls, and then we’ll play some jingle balls. It’s been a real long wait – this is our second date! It’s Christmas Eve and I’m getting laid.”
His housekeeper/cook comes in and asks:
“Hey, I’m mixing up the egg nog. You want this broad lit up or just slightly glowing?” “Well,” Charlie says, “let’s see, we’re celebrating peace on earth and good will towards all mankind, so let’s get ‘er plowed!” “Hallelujah!” says the cook.
Charlie returns to singing, “Glo-oh-oh-oh-oh-ria, tonight I’m boinking Gloria!” CBS punctuates every single line with a laugh track.

Yes, He even has the audacity to call others bigots. ‘Cause, you know, parodying a Christmas song is all about slamming Christians. Maybe, perhaps he should check out the “hits” from Westboro Baptist Church in which many a Christmas song is parodied or mocked.
Surprisingly he didn’t jump on the fact that it’s two men raising a boy, and no mother around.
Yes from Wildmon and his camp the “hits” keep on coming and coming. It’s amazing that his TV hasn’t burnt out, since he obviously can’t turn it off. It would explain the thick glasses though.

While I don’t normally find myself agreeing with or liking any of the religious “right” groups, I must agree with the AFA’s stance on the censorship of Brittany McComb’s speech. Her right to free speech and freedom of religion were both violated by school officials and the ACLU. The schools have decided to err too far on the side of “separation of church and state” and forgotten that it is the student’s rights to pray if they want to, or to form student religious organizations. They’ve also forgotten that the student’s rights to free speech is what is important in today’s society.
Schools are sending the message that only secular speech and thinking is allowed in public settings when we all know this simply isn’t true. As a private citizen anyone is allowed to think and talk with religious overtones. She was merely thanking her God for helping her get to where she was in life. She was not speaking on behalf of the school and therefore should have been allowed to say her speech in full and unedited.
Now if only the fundamentalists at the AFA could get it through their thick boulbus skulls to actually practice what they preach and leave others’ alone when they make speeches regarding acceptance of the GLBT community. While I think it’s deplorable what the school and the ACLU have done to this student it is absolutely reprehensible what the AFA and other pro-family organizations do to gay youth who want to start a Gay/Straight Alliance at their school or promote Anti-Bullying laws.
One day the AFA will get it right.
Brittany McComb was one of the valedictorians at Foothill High School recently. She graduated with a 4.7 GPA. She earned the right to address the other graduates at Foothill, located in Henderson, Nevada.
She gave a copy of her graduating speech to the school administrators. It contained some Biblical references and even mentioned (one time) the name “Christ”. The school administrators censored some of the Biblical references. They also censored the single reference to Christ.
Then the school officials handed the speech over to the ACLU for approval and/or more censoring. After getting the OK from the ACLU, Brittany’s speech (minus the censored references to the Bible and Christ) was approved. Brittany was warned that if she deviated from the ACLU approved language, her mike would be cut off.
Then came the moment for the big decision. She would not bow down, she decided. She would go with her original version. She stepped to the mike and began her speech. But just before she could utter the name “Christ”, her mike went dead. School officials silenced her. The crowd of 400 jeered for several minutes, angry at the action of the school officials. The ACLU was happy. They had silenced another Christian.
“I went through four years of school at Foothill and they taught me logic and they taught me freedom of speech. God’s the biggest part of my life. Just like other valedictorians thank their parents, I wanted to thank my lord and savior,” Brittany said.
Because she refused to bow down to the ACLU’s idol of gold, she did not get her wish. She was censored.
This young heroine deserves praise and a thank you from those who believe in free speech.

The AFA in their infinite wisdom is yet again trying to to stop the separation of science from religion. A school in Kentucky has decided to switch to a secular dating system. For those of you who do not know we currently use a religious dating system called BC/AD (Before Christ/Anno Domini (Year of our Lord)). Scientists, rather than switch and have to learn a new year, just want to make the separation between the years that count backwards and the years that count forward by changing BC/AD to BCE/CE which stands for “Before the Common Era/Common Era.”
The AFA does not like this at all since they preach that the birth of Christ is what separates the years. If this were true tho as most biblical and scientific scholars would argue, we would be unsure exactly what year it really was, but know that it’d be somewhere between 1982 and 2002 because the dates that scholars say Christ was actually born were between the years 4 AD and 24 AD. Sorry guys, not 1 AD.
The Scientists also just want to prove that Alphabetical order is always better when ordering things (except at a drive through). Instead of the backwards BAC’s that are taught in the church. In the Christian example we have B before A which is alphabetically inaccurate. In the Secular Science example we have B before C which is alphabetically acceptable by most ABC instructors.
More evidence of the BAC’s being taught in the alphabet challenged schools can be seen by taking the AFA poll on whether or not to switch from BC/AD to BCE/CE here.
In my school I remember that we were always taught to use the alphabet when creating an alphabetical list. Now you can see that they made an attempt at scientific alphabetization but that was soon discarded as “too hard” and the Christian alphabet was applied.
Next week the CCC will teach our children how to Add and Subtract.

AFA is up in arms over a scene in CBS show ‘Without A Trace’ where two female cast members embrace in a ‘passionate’ kiss. The kiss is only about 3 or 4 seconds long but of course any sort of homo action is considered offensive by the overly sensitive AFA.

The AFA (American Family Association) headed by Donald Wildmon announced on Wednesday that their Action Alerts (calls for boycotts and whatnot) have gotten a face lift. Their new design uses warm colors like red instead of the depressing blue they used to use. But be rest assured it’s still filled with the uneducated diatribe of a group of religious zealots. But lets not judge too hastily….
Moving along we can see the nice patriotic look and feel of the new design. We can appreciate their concern for American Families. We here at GTS hope that more inboxes will reject the messages of hate as spam.
